Language Explorers Scholarship

Incoming, first-year students for Fall 2024 are eligible to be considered for a scholarship to study a less commonly taught language at the Hamilton Lugar School. Scholarship amounts vary and are renewable. Eligible languages are listed below. Questions may be directed to hlsadmit@iu.edu.

Master a critical language

Indiana University supports a nation-leading three US government Language Flagship programs, which provide instruction in Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), and Russian. These programs only for undergraduate students.

Learn through immersion
